The purpose of St. Valentine’s Kindergarten Program is to provide a child-oriented environment; one which encourages and develops the emotional, physical, spiritual, social and intellectual growth and development of each child. As a religious community, we practice daily our values and beliefs in a Christian atmosphere. We encourage the children to express their creativity, become problem solvers and develop self-discipline, self-esteem and a sense of responsibility.

Our day consists of some total group work as well as some center work. We have six learning centers, in which the children take turns working. The centers place more responsibility on the kindergarteners for completing the work neatly and in a reasonable amount of time. Those students who need extra time to complete a certain task or skill concept will get it without feeling pressured. The main concentration is on readiness skills and sharing an enthusiasm for learning.
