St. Valentine Catholic School will close whenever Bay City Public Schools close due to inclement weather, emergencies, or conditions exist that make it unsafe to operate.  If school is closed because of inclement weather, all school related activities would be canceled for that evening.

If a tornado watch is issued, we will keep students in regular session. If a tornado has been sighted in the immediate area (tornado warning), all students will be directed to take cover in the hallway, unless picked up by the parents/guardians or another authorized adult.

If students must be sent home before the end of the day because of weather conditions, each family will be called to make sure the parents/guardians know that their child/children will be coming home early.

If St. Valentine Catholic School closes due to water problems, heating problems, etc. you will be informed by using our “Emergency Telephone Chain”.
