Parents/Guardians MUST call the school office by 9:00 a.m. and give the following information in the event of an absence: student’s name, reason for absence, expected date or time of return.
Students are responsible for missed work during absences. In cases where planned vacations are necessary, the school should be notified in advance.
Students will be released only to parent/guardian, custodial parent, designated caregiver, or persons whom parents have identified through oral or written notification. Refusal to release students to anyone other than the above will be strictly followed other than in an emergency at which time the administrator will determine the best course of safety for the student.
A note or telephone call is required if a parent wishes to pick up a child during the school day. When picking up the child, the parent/guardian MUST report to the school office. The school secretary or principal will get the child from the classroom.
