In accordance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, the school does not discriminate on the basis of sex in either its admission policies or its employment practices. The principal shall be considered the coordinator for this title.
Likewise, no child whose parents/guardians desire to enroll him/her in St. Valentine Catholic School, provided there is a capacity for additional enrollment, shall be denied admission to the school on the basis of religious affiliation, race, color, or national origin. Children with special needs may be admitted on consideration that they themselves will benefit from a normal classroom environment, and they will be no detriment to the other pupils’ progress.
Michigan law requires that each child be completely immunized before entering school for the first time. If they are not, they will be excluded from attendance at school.
